The first moment it felt like Christmas this year.
I found out a good friend from high school died. I sat in front my fireplace with whiskey, and couldn’t sit still any longer. So i bundled up and trekked to a friends house around midnight. There was to be a little gathering before hiking to the a good spot to watch the lunar eclipse. I sat on a chair, with 3 friends, and 8 people whose names i didnt know. I don’t care about Christmas. I’m indifferent. I don’t hate it at all. There is a lack of cynicism and bitterness in my attitude towards these winter holidays (surprisingly).
